Bette Davis famously said “Old age ain't no place for sissies.” When we age, and we all do, we become those roaming skeleton beasts on the edge of the desert. The ones that no one wants to engage and the ones that have survived all their friends. This is aging.
She also said this:
“To fulfill a dream, to be allowed to sweat over lovely labor, to be given the chance to create, is the meat and potatoes of life. The money is the gravy.”
