An approaching storm looms on the horizon hills and will soon demonstrate the power of nature in a very small way. A storm of human activity is also a power of Nature as we are seeing in the September 2016 protests of the Dakota Access pipeline at Lake Oahe in North Dakota.
Increasingly economic gain takes precedence over responsible human respect for Nature and people.
On September 9, 2016 as ABC News reported the Standing Rock Sioux issues this statement: "The federal court ruled against the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe today but, in a stunning move, three federal agencies have blocked the pipeline at Lake Oahe pending a thorough review and reconsideration of the process," the tribe said in a statement on its Facebook page.
Donald Trump reversed that decision by Executive Order.
If only the land and spirits could show us more of the conflict this is what it would look like.
