Richter Red and Blue
Gerhard Richter is one of my leading painting heroes. His range of expression and innovation is impressive. This style of abstracts is called the "squeegee" paintings. He literally runs a huge squeegee across the thick paint on the canvas surface to create unknown effects. It's an all or nothing approach. I like that. This is my variation of Richter's squeegee technique.
